A New Atelier Resleriana Title is Releasing this September 26

Developer Gust and publisher KOEI TECMO America announced that Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian is releasing on September 26. This new Atelier title is going to be available for the PC via Steam along with consoles PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch.

To celebrate this announcement, a first look video has been released that comes with commentary from the developers. It offers a quick look at the world that players can explore and the game system. Watch the new video here.

A New Adventure

Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian invites players on a mysterious and cozy adventure with new protagonists. There's Rias Eidreise, an adventurer with a talent for alchemy, and Slade Clauslyter, a young man with the ability to open entrances to dimensional paths that lead to alternate dimensions.

The two heroes join forces in an attempt to discover the reason for the disappearance of the inhabitants of Hallfein. At the same time they also try to follow in the footsteps of their loved ones and restore their hometown. During their journey, they meet different characters who will help them and these include familiar faces from the Atelier series like Sophie Nuenmuller, Razeluxe Meitzen, Totori Helmold, and Wilbell Voll-Ersleid.

Explore Lantarna

The game is set in the universe of Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator. The new Atelier title transports players to the continent of Lantarna. There they can explore, gather ingredients for synthesis, and discover every secret corner, day or night, rain or shine.

Players also have the chance to explore multi-level dungeons known as “Dimensional Paths.” It’s a structure that changes randomly with each visit and allows players to gather different ingredients and challenge new enemies depending on the difficulty level chosen.

Strategy and Turn-Based Combat

In the game, the fights combine strategy with turn-based combat to allow for strategic timeline command battles. Players use action points and equipped items to their advantage as they try to inflict damage and influence the timeline of characters’ turns, triggering consecutive turns for allies and activating powerful unite attacks.
