It’s the 6th anniversary of Shop Titans and as part of the celebration, Kabam has released game update 20.0. There’s a lot of new content for everyone to enjoy and one of these is the Collection Cards.
What are Collection Cards? These are new items that ShopKeepers can collect and provide bonuses to their Shop. These can be earned from special Card Packs, which are opened with gems or earned from events. According to the studio, each pack comes with five different cards.
There are currently 43 different cards to collect, which is one per character in the game. In addition, each comes in three different rarities too. The studios shared that once a card is earned, it's automatically added to the collection book and increases the Collection Score of the Shopkeepers.
Now as mentioned, each card brings with it a unique and permanent bonus. The Argon Card for example, unlocks a permanent 5% bonus to his stats simply from earning one card. However, it's still possible to increase the bonus for as much as 25% by collecting more Argon Cards and earning XP progress towards the next bonus level. For Rare and Mythic Argon cards, they give much more XP toward these bonuses.
Studio also revealed that while most cards have their upgrade levels, there's a rare few that only have a single and powerful effect. In this case, no bonus is available until enough XP is earned to unlock it. An example is the Elder Owen that once the bonus is unlocked has Shopkeepers gain a permanent +2 furniture space for their shop.
Grand Collection Content Pass
In the spirit of Collection, the studio is releasing a new Content Pass that comes with some exclusive content. It also includes an artifact known as the Binder of Memories. Then there are the Mythic Card Packs and Rare Card Packs, which are special packs that guarantee at least one Mythic or Rare card respectively. Meanwhile, Shopkeepers able to complete every single task get to unlock the exclusive Antiquarian title.
The Grand Collection Content Pass runs for 2 weeks from June 12 to June 27.
