Nexon has released a new trailer for the highly-anticipated Season 3 of The First Descendant. Titled as Breakthrough, it’s set to be released on August 7.
While that’s still a little under two months, players need not worry. That’s because they can check out the upcoming season with a demo which starts July 24. It features a lot of new content that include the massive Axion Plains field, the Hover Bike vehicle, and the Colossus Field Raid.
In addition, players can also now pre-register for Season 3 to claim exclusive rewards that include the Descendant Selection Box and a special title and milestone bonuses like a Transcendent Module and an Ultimate Weapon Selection Box.

Livestream Session
The studio also revealed that the development team is hosting a live developer livestream session on June 11 on the official YouTube channel. There they’ll be sharing new details about the Breakthrough update along with upcoming plans for June and July.
Descendant Fest
That’s not all since there’s also the Descendant Fest which is happening on July 1. It’s a special showcase event that celebrates the first anniversary of The First Descendant. During the event, new details about the upcoming Breakthrough update are also planned to be shared along with a quick look of the future roadmap.

Players can dive deeper into the world of The First Descendant by joining the conversation on Discord. This channel was created as part of the studio’s ongoing commitment to improving communication and getting valuable feedback from the community. Players have since responded positively and in turn, the studio has appreciated receiving their feedback and reflected it in the game’s development.
The First Descendant is a next-generation third-person co-op action RPG looter shooter which features high-quality graphics developed using Unreal Engine 5. In the game, players become a Descendant whose mission is to fight against alien invaders. Players encounter spectacular stories as they grow stronger through various missions and raids to finally discover the Descendants' secret.
In The First Descendant, cooperation is crucial as players team up with one another in strategic 4-player boss fights where teamwork and tactics are key. New equipment, materials, and items obtained through a myriad of missions and boss fights will contribute to players’ character development.
