Two New Game Tie-in Book for Final Fantasy XVI Releasing in May 2026

Square Enix announced that they'll be releasing two new game-tie-in books for Final Fantasy XVI. The books are LOGOS: The World of Final Fantasy XVI and The Art of Final Fantasy XVI: Echoes of the Rising Tide. Both are coming out in 2026.

A Lore Compilation

LOGOS: The World of Final Fantasy XVI (English Edition) invites readers to an exclusive deep dive of the rich lore that is Final Fantasy XVI. It explores a wide range of topics from music to literature to religion. It even has topics on cooking. The various entries are transcribed from journals, diaries, letters, and character conversations.

LOGOS isn't just an encyclopedia but also serves as a window into the realm of Valisthea and the lives of its inhabitants. However, what makes this book truly special is that the contributions were from three of the game's English-language voice cast. Ben Starr (voice of The voice of Clive), Stewart Clarke (voice of Dion), Christopher York (voice of Gav), all lend their talents as writers to bring their characters to life within the pages of this tome.

A New Artbook

The Art of Final Fantasy XVI: Echoes of the Rising Tide (English Edition) is a 92-page hardcover art book that features key art and visual assets from the development of DLC episodes Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide. All of these are printed on archival-quality text stock. This collectors’ quality and full-color volume offers character and enemy designs, environmental illustrations, and concept sketches. It also has art drawn by Final Fantasy XVI lead artist Kazuya Takahashi exclusively for this work.
