Elden Ring Nightreign is finally available worldwide. The game puts players into co-op multiplayer PVE combat versus a rather harsh and unforgiving world. It has been released for the PC via Steam along with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X/S.

While this is indeed exciting, developer FromSoftware has another reason to celebrate. In a statement, the studio shared that the game has managed to surpass the milestone of 2 million units.

Elden Ring Nightreign offers an experience that's unlike any other title that the studio has released in the past. That's because this condensed action RPG ensures that players never experience the same journey twice. The environment of the game is ever-shifting and evolving with each new session.

The game has players choose from one of eight unique Nightfarers. Each one comes with each with its own unique weapons and abilities. In addition, players have to come up with split-second decisions about combat and exploration across a map that fluctuates with different biomes, weapons, and enemies.

Each session in Elden Ring Nightreign requires players to stay adept at thinking on their feet as the encircling Night’s Tide forces them into various scenarios with each expedition. They'll have to survive each and outrun the encroaching circle of fire pits players against not only the terrifying bosses from Elden Ring but also from other FromSoftware titles.

Then on the third day, players have to fight against one of the game’s Nightlords. This is a new and never-before-seen boss that has a new set of challenges to overcome. To take down these challenges, Nightfarers need to learn to cooperate and combine their unique abilities together for an unparalleled experience in the Elden Ring universe.

What makes Elden Ring Nightreign unique is that all is not lost for those who fall in defeat. Players who experience unsuccessful runs get relics which let them customize and upgrade their characters that are tailored to their personal play styles.
