Farmatic is Releasing on PC and Consoles

Frozen Way announced its upcoming title Farmatic is launching on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. This farming life simulator features automation and RPG elements. It's going to offer full cross-platform co-op support for up to four players.

In a statement, the studio shared that Farmatic has been carefully cultivated so that it offers the charm of classic farming games and combines it with elements of automation and light RPG mechanics. It's been designed as a relaxing yet engaging experience.

Farmatic is a farming life simulator that combines various elements that include farming, light automation, crafting, and combat elements. It’s set in a retro-futuristic world that’s inspired by the 1970s and 1990s.

The game has players create and expand their own farm with the use of advanced technology to make everyday farm work more efficient and enjoyable. Whether they’re playing alone or in co-op, players gradually transform their farm while uncovering new mechanics, completing story-driven quests, and navigating both the charm and the strangeness of village life.

Running the Farm

At its core, Farmatic offers players the necessary tools to run their own farm. They can use light automation to support different everyday tasks that include planting and harvesting crops and all the way to raising animals, to name a few.

As players progress, they can expand their farm with bots and simple machines that make work easier without replacing the cozy pace of farm life.

The Underground Mines

However, it’s not all about farming. That’s because far beneath the peaceful fields lies a dangerous and irradiated zone, which are the underground mines. It’s home to Rhemidium, a mysterious and highly unstable radioactive metal.

As players descend deeper, they need to face mutated subterranean lifeforms and survive increasing levels of radiation. Without a protective suit, exposure can quickly take its toll and make each expedition a strategic challenge. The rewards though are worth it since Rhemidium is the key to unlocking some of the most advanced features of the game.
