New Trailer for Clockwork Revolution Released

A new trailer for Clockwork Revolution has been released. This new trailer gives us a closer look at the darker side of Avalon.

Clockwork Revolution is a time-bending steampunk first-person RPG. It puts players on the role of Morgan Vanette, a customizable player-character and member of the Rotten Row Hooligans gang. The group has recently learned that the world they live in has actually been altered by the enigmatic Lady Ironwood. It seems that she's unnaturally manipulated history with her use of time travel. This has resulted in Lady Ironwood obtaining immense power and wealth. It also allowed her to ensure that the working class is kept under her heel.

The gang has learned how she has managed to travel into the past and has tasked Morgan with travelling across time to turn back the clock and right the wrongs done by Lady Ironwood.

Before reading further, get to watch the new trailer here. It’s been set out to reveal more about the depth of the world along with showing the grittier side of town. The trailer also gives a look into the game’s RPG systems where players get to customize their character, interact with the people and world. Of course, we also see the fight against the forces of Lady Ironwood.

Weapon System

One of the highlights of Clockwork Revolution is the weapon customization system. In particular, there's the weapon bench. In a statement, Game Director Chad Moore shared that at the start of the project, they wanted to "pay off the fantasy" especially when it came to being a steampunk inventor. The way the weapon system works is that when players find a weapon, it serves as a major moment. That's because they'll be using that same weapon for the rest of the game.

However, players can upgrade their weapons at the weapon bench. There's a lot of ways to customize them and it depends on the playstyle. Moore went on to say that this whole experience makes the weapon the star of the show. In addition to weapons, they are also cool gadgets like steampunky grenades and deployables. Then there's the time powers.

There’s no word yet on when Clockwork Revolution is coming out but it can now be wishlisted on Steam.
